Chairman and CEO
Dr. Sulaiman is a Professor of Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery. As the System Chairman of the department of Neurosurgery at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana, he has been instrumental in making it one of the top 5% programs in the USA, #1 in Louisiana, and #23 in the country by US News and World Report. He serves as the Co-Medical Director of the Ochsner Neuroscience Institute and the Medical Director of the most comprehensive Spine Center in the region. Prof. Sulaiman is recognized as one of the best spine surgeons in the USA and is skilled in the application of minimally invasive techniques to treat spinal disorders. With a PhD in Neuroscience, he is actively involved in neuroscience research and heads the Laboratory for Neural Regeneration at Ochsner Medical Center.
Professor Sulaiman is a renowned leader in healthcare, and a member of the American College of Physician Executives. His broad range of experiences have earned him recognition locally, nationally, and internationally. For over the past decade, he has been actively involved in improving the quality of healthcare in Nigeria. He has used his influence and expertise to bring modern neurosurgery and spine care to several neurosurgery practices (both at private hospitals and government teaching hospitals) in the country. Prof. Sulaiman is currently Ochsner’s Medical Director of International Medicine for the African Region.
As a well-respected thought leader on the country's healthcare challenges, Prof. Sulaiman acts as an advisor to Nigerian ministries of health at the state and federal levels. He founded RNZ Global with the belief that, "There are a tremendous number of brilliant Nigerians in diaspora who will significantly contribute to raising the standard of healthcare in Nigeria.”
Ms. Sulaiman is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who holds a Master's degree in Community Health Sciences, and is also Board Certified in Trauma Nursing. She has many years of experience working in all aspects of patient care delivery in both urban and rural health centers in Canada. Most notably, for several years Ms. Sulaiman worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse throughout the most remote regions of North America. She was one of only a handful of healthcare practitioners providing all levels of medical care in the Canadian Arctic.
Ms. Sulaiman has also worked at the Public Health Agency of Canada and helped shape policy pertaining to HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C programming in the country. Presently, she is an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center Faculty, as well as the AHA Training Site Coordinator for RNZ Occupational Hospital. Additionally, Ms. Sulaiman is a certified instructor in various disciplines with the AHA and the Emergency Nurses Association. Ms. Sulaiman founded RNZ Global with the confidence that, "We Nigerians will bring healthcare excellence back to Nigeria."

Dr. Quinlan has deep experience in all major facets of health care-medical care, medical and administrative management of delivery systems, governance, and medical insurance. He is CEO Emeritus of the Ochsner Health System and has served in many capacities over the years including private practitioner, staff clinician, department chair, specialty chair, regional chair, VP for Physician Integration, VPMA, Chief Medical Officer, CEO of the Ochsner Clinic, and CEO & Board member for the Ochsner Health System. He was the past chair of the Ochsner Health Plan and is the lead director-elect for the international Insurance Company, the Pan-American Life Insurance Group. As CEO, he led Ochsner through the Katrina crisis, and has experience in mergers, acquisitions, startups, turnarounds and joint ventures.
He received past national recognition from Healthcare magazine as "the most powerful physician executive in the US" and one of the 50 most influential leaders in US healthcare. His international experience includes the President's Advisory Board for St. Georges University in Grenada, the International Advisory Board to the Saudi Ministry of Health for Health Transformation, business development in Mexico, Panama, Dominican Republic, and contracts with The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission and various universities, medical cities and private companies in Saudi Arabia.
Dr Quinlan resides in New Orleans, LA, USA, and is married with three children. His particular interest in population health and world health practices led him to Medical Education missions to China, Australia, Germany, New Zealand, Cuba and South Africa.
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer
Mr. Olarinde is a seasoned finance professional, with an extensive track record of achievements at the Executive Board level. He has 28 years of experience within the United Kingdom National Health Service (NHS) having served in a variety of roles within the different sectors of clinical services provision including hospital acute care, primary care, community, and mental health care.
Prior to joining RNZ, he was the pioneer Chief Finance Officer of Thurrock Clinical Commissioning Group (akin to Health Management Organisations) with an annual revenue budget in excess of £200m. He played a leading role in building the organisation from September 2011, seeing it through legal establishment in April 2013, and served on the Board for nearly 5 years. He led the development and implementation of financial and corporate strategies, ensuring the organisation successfully achieved its objectives.
Mr. Olarinde is passionate about supporting clinicians and non-finance professionals to achieve corporate objectives, and keen to contribute his quota to improve the quality of healthcare in Nigeria, and advance the development of population health systems in Nigeria and beyond.
Director of Human Resources and Head of Administration
Ms. Olaosebikan is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management, and several diplomas from various human resources related disciplines. She has extensive experience in strategic and operational HRM practices and consultancy spanning over 25 years in both the public and private sectors.
Her vast experience encompasses employee resourcing, employee development, employee relations, and employment legislation in multi-disciplinary institutions.
Ms. Olaosebikan has coached, consulted, trained and advised organizational leaders and managers from varying fields to enhance their ability to handle HR issues in diverse and complex environments. She serves on the board of trustees for several not-for-profit organizations in the United Kingdom. Her professional development and research interests are in the areas of change management, health, and individual and societal wellbeing.
She is married with children and enjoys spending time with her family.
Dr. Lucas is currently a senior executive and the Medical Director of the French Vietnamese Hospital, where he was instrumental in the achievement of the first JCI accreditation in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and transformation of that stand-alone hospital into an integrated system.
A 30 year veteran , he has a reputation for innovation and deep experience in all aspects of healthcare, including Public Health, Institutional Governance, medical practice, medical group leadership, not- for-profit provider owned health plans and for/profit national health insurance. A five time CEO, he has led two nationally recognized Integrated Delivery Systems, and transformed three Community hospitals into integrated regional health systems. He was a pioneer in population health and formed one of the first disease management companies in the nation. He has won numerous awards and grants for innovation and quality, and is both a Joint Commission Surveyor and a Malcolm Baldridge Award examiner.
His long history in international health care began with three years in West Africa for an international aid organization and grew to include work in Cameroon, Mali, Mauritania, Botswana, Ruanda, Tunisia, Israel, Portugal, Vietnam, Ajman UAE, and Korea for USAID, the United Nations Development Plan, the World Bank and JCI.
John currently resides in Vietnam where in addition to his work with the FV Hospital, he has started two companies which provide digital and genomic services. His permanent residence is Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.
Dr. Lawrence served as CEO and Chairman of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals from 1991 until his retirement in 2002. He currently pursues interest in new business development, teaching, public policy, and writing. He is a member of the boards of Aditazz, CellWorks, MedECube, and OncoStem. He is a member of the Health Advisory Board of the RAND corporation; advisor to the CEO’s of SomaLogic and Medial/EarlySign; and associated with Artiman Ventures. He has served on the boards of Hewlett Packard, its spin-off company, Agilent Technologies, McKesson Corp, PGE Corp, Raffles Medical Group (Singapore); and as a Trustee for the Rockefeller Foundation. He consults with selected health care systems around the globe (China, India, Saudi Arabia, among others).
Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 1981, Dr. Lawrence worked in Public Health in Multnomah County, OR, on the faculty of the University of Washington School of Public Health and Community Medicine and the School of Medicine; as Director of the MEDEX Program; as Advisor to the Ministry of Health of Chile; and as a Peace Corps Physician in the Dominican Republic and Washington, DC.
Dr. Lawrence is a founding board member of the Lucian Leape Institute and a Distinguished Advisor to the National Patient Safety Foundation. He is a member of the Academy of Medicine and the AOA Physician Honor Society. He is the author of From Chaos to Care: The Promise of Team-Based Medicine (Perseus, 2002). His book, Best Care; Best Future: A Guide For Healthcare Leaders, published in 2014 by Second River Publishing, received the “2015 Book of the Year” award from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
He is married to the former Stephanie Ann Poche of Baltimore, MD. They have four children and nine grandchildren, and divide their time between their olive ranch in Geyservillle, CA and their vacation home in Black Butte Ranch, OR.
Joel is the Managing Director of WellNovation a Middle East based, private equity backed, healthcare incubator whose purpose is to help develop and launch innovative new healthcare services to help solve some of the region’s most pressing health challenges.
Previously, Joel was a Partner with PWC in their global Healthcare Practice and led the firm’s Middle East advisory practice for three years. Joel joined PwC following the acquisition of strategy consultancy MONITOR Group, where he spent four years and was the firm’s General Manager for Saudi Arabia and a Principal in the Toronto consulting practice.
Joel has worked extensively with public and private healthcare providers, investors and policy makers in several GCC countries. His last strategy work was to lead the national healthcare Strategy Refresh for the Saudi Ministry of Health. The year-long project focused on developing a “healthcare system” (vs. their hospital care system). Highlights included modernising the model of care, implementing chronic disease management programs, initiating a payment reform program and developing a national health technology plan).
He has 17 years of consulting experience, has lived and worked in London, Toronto, Riyadh and is now based in Dubai with his wife and three children.
Mr. Ward has a broad background, having worked as an architect for nationally and world renowned architectural design firms, as well as contractors, design build firms and 24 years as an owner’s representative for a major Healthcare System. Mr. Ward was responsible for the System’s departments which included Design and Construction of all Facilities, Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, and Support Services. He played a key role in the strategic growth and development of the current 30 owned, managed, and affiliated hospitals with over 80 outpatient clinics that make up this integrated healthcare system.
His specific experience includes strategic planning, facilities master planning, functional programming, healthcare facility design, feasibility analysis, simulation modeling, alternative delivery system implementation, facilities strategy for mergers and acquisitions, construction, capital program management, property management and hospital support services management. Specific areas of expertise include operations planning and facilities design and programming for complex medical services in an academic setting, while focusing on optimizing hospital and clinical space to its highest utilization.
Besides stateside design and development, Mr. Ward is consulting with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and specific major universities to assist them with the design and development of academic teaching hospitals, clinics, and alternative healthcare delivery models. He is currently working in Bahrain on a private hospital as the country transitions to a privatized healthcare delivery model.
Widely recognized for his quality and patient safety expertise, Dr. Byrnes has designed programs for organizations throughout the United States and Europe. He provides training and consultations for health systems, hospitals, and medical groups on clinical quality, patient safety, population health management, outcome measurement, and physician engagement.
Dr. Byrnes is on the national faculty for the American Association for Physician Leaders (AAPL) and their Board’s Faculty Advisory Council. In addition to founding Quality BootCamp® and HRO AcademyTM, he has taught many programs for AAPL, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He has also served as a guest lecturer at the Haas School of Business and the School of Public Health of UC Berkeley, the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, the University of Michigan School of Public Health, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Baylor College of Medicine, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Emory University School of Medicine among others.
He has authored more than 30 articles in major journals and contributed to eight books. Dr. Byrnes is a member of the National Board of Directors for the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and has served on Board Quality Committees for large hospital systems, multi- specialty medical groups, integrated healthcare systems, and health plans. He also serves as Clinical Associate Professor at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine.
Dr. Byrnes lives near Grand Rapids, Michigan. He and wife Lori have two daughters and enjoy raising alpacas on their Michigan farm.
